Viage, a new and innovative UK creative technology agency, have partnered with LA-based developer, Readz, in order to bring an exciting new content marketing platform to the UK.

Content marketing is now widely regarded as one of today’s most exciting digital marketing opportunities, with the majority of marketers currently producing more content than they did a year ago.

Many brands distribute content as PDFs, or PDF-derivatives such as flipbooks which lack the accessibility, interactivity and social sharing that audiences now expect. Some brands build native apps in order to deliver the quality of experience audiences desire, but native apps need multiple steps to access, are expensive and time consuming to make and are not available on desktops.

The Readz platform enables brands and agencies to add responsive HTML5 web apps or microsites to campaigns, quickly and easily, delivering a great user experience which works on all contemporary devices and operating systems.

Under the partnership agreement, Viage will be responsible for servicing Readz clients in the UK by building Readz apps for UK brands and agencies, in addition to training brands and agencies to build their own apps using Readz.

Viage have already developed a global internal magazine for Costa Coffee using the Readz platform, where they designed, built and distributed the magazine to 10,000+ international Costa employees and stakeholders keeping them up-to-date with the latest company news, information and developments.

Jon Clarke, Director at Viage said, “As a new agency that prides itself on discovering and developing the most exciting and relevant digital products on the market, the partnership with Readz is extremely exciting for us.

“Despite the increased financial investment and extra resource being channeled by marketers into creating rich and engaging content, there is a lack of digital content distribution platforms that meet the needs of the modern consumer and match the quality of the content being created.

“The Readz content creation platform has huge potential and will be a vital tool for helping brands and agencies take advantage of the opportunities now available as a result of the digital revolution.

“We have already seen a great response from Costa and their employees, and we now look forward to bringing this innovative platform to help other UK brands.”

Peter De Loof, Vice President of Possibilities at Readz said, “We are excited to be partnering with Viage. Their attitude towards cutting edge technology and their desire to support brands with their content creation and distribution platforms is a great asset to our business.”
