Digital agency Crafted is continuing its expansion by opening an office in London’s Bethnal Green to support its long-standing Ipswich operation.

The additional studio will serve the agency’s growing client base across the Capital, which includes brands such as Camelot, boutique hostel chain Generator and commercial property giant Workspace, as well as new and existing projects in the UK and internationally. Located in renovated Allen and Hanburys factory, the Pill Box on Coventry Road, the new office will be home to members of the agency’s production, client services and commercial teams.

Crafted, which specialises in web and software development, search marketing, conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and user experience (UX), has enjoyed significant growth over the past year. Revenue has increased by 39%, with 10 new staff appointed since January and another two due to join as part of its annual graduate scheme.

Amongst the new starters, Florence Mukoro joins from Sapient Nitro as Senior Account Manager. With more than 13 year’s industry experience, Florence has worked across the breadth of digital, delivering multi-channel advertising and communications campaigns for clients including Sky and Kellogg’s UK.

Tom Gillman, Head of Sales and Marketing, said:

“This expansion heralds an exciting new chapter for Crafted, not only bringing us closer to our growing client base in London but creating a dynamic new home for our team to serve brands further afield.

“We selected Bethnal Green, and the Pill Box in particular, because it is a growing tech and digital hub, filled with talented individuals and companies.”

Crafted has enjoyed substantial year-on-year growth since 2005 and has plans to celebrate its 10th birthday by opening new larger premises next year to house its expanding Ipswich team of 50+ staff.
