LONDON – April 07, 2015 – Sitecore, the global leader in customer experience management, today announced the appointment of Gary Roberts to the position of senior vice president, EMEA.

In his new role, Roberts will be responsible for strategic operations in the EMEA region; growing the already strong presence of Sitecore into new territories within one of the most dynamic global markets.

Roberts joins Sitecore from Pitney Bowes, where he held a number of global executive positions, successfully leading the business to strong revenue growth as well as integrating several acquisitions. He left the organisation as President, International, after seven years.

“Gary has joined us at an exciting time for the company as we look to capitalise on a milestone product release, leadership positions in multiple analyst reports and strong demand for marketing technologies.

“He will be instrumental in driving growth, as we roll out Sitecore’s market-leading capabilities, and helping customers to execute the transformational benefits of Experience Marketing,” said Michael Tupanjanin, chief revenue officer, Sitecore.

“It’s a great time to join Sitecore as it leads the customer agenda in Europe by enabling marketers to deliver differentiated and disruptive experiences for successful customer engagement – a priority for CMOs and business leaders.

“With its European heritage, I am thrilled to be part of a global organisation that is always looking to push the boundaries of customer success further in this region; branching into emerging markets and moving the brand to the next level,” added Gary Roberts, senior vice president, EMEA, Sitecore.

Prior to Pitney Bowes, Roberts held senior positions at Microsoft and Fujitsu, and brings over 30 years’ experience in the technology industry to Sitecore.

Roberts is also a director and trustee at the Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre charity.
