London, UK – 29/04/2015 7thingsmedia have today announced their new project, Tech x Media.

The new initiative from the global digital media agency will unite pioneering tech start-ups with their clients.

Different tech companies will separately pitch a bespoke campaign to a participating brand and a panel of industry experts including representatives from Facebook, Econsultancy and digital entrepreneur, Mark Pearson. The panel will then select their winner; identifying the campaign that is most innovative or aligned to the brand’s marketing strategy.

7thingsmedia will then facilitate strategy meetings with the brand and technology start-up with a view to launching the ground-breaking digital campaign.

So far confirmed brands include Charlotte Tilbury, James Villa Holidays, Kurt Geiger and Konga.com with tech companies such as Grabble, Viewsy and Avenue Imperial plus The Drum and WeWork contributing as media partners.

Speaking of the initiative, Chris Bishop, Founder & CEO at 7thingsmedia said: “As consumers rapidly embrace technology, many of the forward-thinking tech start-ups selected for Tech X Media are disrupting their sector by creating a product to solve the demand, or even creating a market that never even existed. In a Dragon Den meets Mad Men way; Tech x Media will give our clients’ the opportunity to work alongside companies built to proliferate brand, data, distribution, innovation and technology!”
