Centaur Marketing is thrilled to announce two award wins at the British Media Awards on 6th May.

The Festival of Marketing, brainchild of industry influencers Econsultancy, Marketing Week, Creative Review, Design Week and Celebrity Intelligence, took top honours in the coveted Event of the Year category, reinforcing its place as an unmissable event for those in the marketing, media, creative and advertising industries.

This is an unprecedented third national award win for the inaugural Festival, which also celebrated recent wins at the PPA Connect Awards and PPA Awards in 2014.

The Festival’s unique format and venue, high-quality content backed by unrivalled industry expertise and its senior audience stood out to the judges. With 12 stages covering the theme of Digital Transformation and 130+ speakers, the Festival of Marketing has been lauded for its practical insight and inspiration, its idiosyncratic experiences and excellent networking opportunities.

Sarah Penny, Editor of Fashion and Beauty Monitor won the Bronze Award in the Rising Star category for the outstanding contribution she has made to expanding Fashion and Beauty Monitor’s content across two continents and building a talented and dynamic team.

Sarah’s in-depth understanding of the brand’s markets and audience as well as a unique combination of commercial nous and creativity made her a stand-out entry. Her ability to scope out new developments and content that brings value to the product has ensured Fashion and Beauty Monitor has maintained its position as a market leader.
