Digital specialists Brass Alt are celebrating picking up a prestigious Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) Gold award for their work on the Lucozade Sport Conditions Zone. The Alt team received the highest accolade in the Best Use of Technology category, pushing fellow nominees H&M and Budweiser into the silver and bronze positions.

Working as Lucozade Sport’s social and digital agency, Brass Alt delivered content to UK sports fans about hydration and performance during the 2014 FIFA World Cup to support the experiential ‘Conditions Zone’; a cutting edge, purpose built 5-a-side facility designed to replicate the temperature and humidity of Manaus in Brazil. The team’s work included a range of accessible scientific content, video footage from within the Zone, branded interfaces, infographics, an online conditions simulator, and the design of the brand’s responsive portal website.

Gill Ball, Head of Brass Alt, said of the win:

“We are delighted to have received this prestigious award in recognition of our work on the Conditions Zone. This was a great, ambitious project to be involved in, and the Conditions Zone allowed us to showcase our technical expertise in a highly creative way while delivering exceptional results for the brand.”
