Global digital marketing agency, Jellyfish, has appointed Paramjeet Sanghera as its first chief technology officer where he will head up the agency’s technical offering and vision.

Sanghera joins Jellyfish from iCrossing where he held the role of senior vice president, technology since 2008. He brings over 20 years of industry experience to his new role, having delivered transformative digital technology solutions for clients across a range of sectors, including financial services, automotive, healthcare and hospitality. Brands that Sanghera has previously worked on include Toyota, LG Electronics, Putnam Investments, Marriott and Volkswagen of America.

Operating from Jellyfish’s US headquarters in Baltimore, Sanghera will be responsible for the agency’s global technical output. This involves driving software engineering initiatives and developing the agency’s technical capabilities across all channels, platforms and devices. He will work across the agency’s client base, which includes Under Armour, Stanley Black & Decker, Nestlé and Walden University.

Sanghera will also be responsible for setting the agency’s technical vision and strategic direction, ensuring technology is integrated across departments. Reporting directly to Jellyfish CEO Rob Pierre, Sanghera will lead a growing global team in the US, UK and South Africa.
