Leading digital marketing, technology and commerce consultancy Amaze, has appointed Kirstie Buchanan as Chief Commercial Officer to drive forward its business development strategy. Kirstie starts her new role at the beginning of May 2017, reporting directly to Tony Murphy, CEO.
At Amaze, Kirstie will be responsible for the client services, new business and marketing functions.

Kirstie brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked in the digital industry for over 16 years. During her notable career she has been a driving force behind the innovation and growth of some of the UK’s biggest agencies and earned industry recognition in the form of multiple DADI awards, including Creative Director of the Year. Kirstie spent seven years at Reading Room, where she was responsible for steering the growth and development of the agency’s Manchester offering. More recently, she has spent six years at Rippleffect, helping the organisation cement its position as one of the UK’s top 20 design and built agencies, as well as carve out a reputation as a leading digital sports agency. She joins Amaze from IDOX, where she was Sales and Marketing Director for their digital businesses Rippleffect and Reading Room.

Chair of the DMA North Council, Kirstie is well known for her commitment to nurturing talent and preparing the next generation of marketers for life in the digital sector. Throughout her career, Kirstie has been dedicated to the advancement of women working within the digital industry and she works with senior women business owners in Liverpool to identify how the city can retain its best talent.
