Our latest report into CRO with Econsultancy, shows that investment in CRO is at an all-time high with 72% of respondents saying their investment will increase by up to 30% this year. But the great news is that further analysis shows that 73% of those that have increased budgets have seen improved conversion rates – a clear correlation between investment and better results.

We're not at all surprised to find that the report also highlighted that A/B Testing, Segmentation and Usability Testing form the optimum combination of CRO methods. It also revealed that 56% of company respondents get ideas for testing from UX research and 50% of company respondents rated usability testing as highly valuable in improving conversion rates.

Knowing the value of usability and UX research, what is surprising is that those percentages are not higher. Nearly half of all companies surveyed are still not doing any usability testing! This represents a massive missed opportunity.

Our CRO Project Director has put together a guide on the key UX methods that you should be implementing and how they fit within your overall CRO strategy - https://www.redeye.com/insights/white-papers/ux-research-guide
