Agency.com London has been appointed by Christian Aid following a four-way competitive pitch.

Agency.com London will help Christian Aid to develop their business online and create a new online strategy for the leading international development charity.

The initial business analysis is planned to commence this month and will be followed by a detailed user research project, working with focus groups and carrying out primary quantitative research.

Agency.com will use the findings from the research project to shape a new online strategy for Christian Aid.

Russell Marsh, Group Account Director at Agency.com London commenting on the win said: “Christian Aid does a lot of good in the world. This is a fantastic opportunity to help them better understand their online audience, recruit new supporters and campaigners and ultimately increase donations.”

“We’re delighted to be working with Agency.com,” said Dorothy Atcheson, Chief Editor of the Christian Aid website. “They stood out in a competitive pitch process for their strategic vision, extensive commercial expertise, and perseverance in understanding the obstacles we face as a charity trying to realise big dreams with limited resources.”

The news of this appointment follows a successful first half of 2005 for Agency.com London, bringing the total number of new clients for the digital agency to eleven in the last six months.
