European Expansion Continues through French Version of Global Network Service

The launch of Commission Junction in France secures a presence for ValueClick in the country's affiliate marketing space and demonstrates its commitment to European expansion. Commission Junction's entry into the French market supports its global network initiative, which has included successful launches into Germany (November 2004) and the UK (December 2001). With the online commerce market in Europe expected to grow from EUR 29 billion in 2003 to EUR 117 billion in 2009 and with an expected 61 percent of European Internet users buying online by 2009 (Jupiter Research, December 2004), Commission Junction's new entry into Europe's second largest economy will enable the company to further capitalise on the significant e-commerce opportunities in the European market.

Launching with well-known advertisers such as LuckySurf, Meetic, PlaneteDiscount and Usafis, Commission Junction's presence in France enables its clients worldwide to take advantage of new opportunities for creating partnerships with French advertisers. The French language interface allows French, Belgian and Canadian advertisers and publishers to navigate throughout the CJ Account Manager (TM) in their native language and currencies. A centralised client services team has been set up in ValueClick's Paris office to serve France and Belgium. Canadian clients will continue to be supported by Commission Junction's offices in the United States.
