ValueClick Europe’s Mediaplex subsidiary, a leading provider of adserving and email marketing technology is pleased to announce the recruitment of Donal Kane as its new Product Manager, arriving from DoubleClick.

Donal’s responsibilities will involve two aspects: working with both the product management and engineering teams at Mediaplex in the US; and supporting the sales process, working closely with Regan Murray, Sales Manager and Alison Guise, UK Country Manager.

Donal, 30 and originally from Dublin, has over 5 years experience working in the adserving sector for DoubleClick Europe. Most recently he was Global Product Specialist on Doubleclick’s DART for Publishers Product and before that DART for Publishers Support Manager. Prior to that Donal worked as a software engineer for JBA Technologies.

Mediaplex offers truly bespoke solutions and services in the adserving market. In addition, the company works with Commission Junction, part of the ValueClick group, to offer its advanced adserving functionality to improve affiliate programmes and reporting information for advertisers.

Commenting his appointment, Donal said, “I’m really excited to have joined Mediaplex – it’s a business that is willing to change and pioneer new developments and technologies unique to the market.”

Alison Guise, UK Country Manager, Mediaplex said, “With Donal’s experience working with adserving and email solutions, he will be a great asset and resource to Mediaplex, and will also work closely with ValueClick’s vcmedia team.”
