Tesco trials visual browsing application

Retail giant Tesco is set to make a few changes to its website this year; it has already launched an improved wine site and the grocery service is due to be relaunched this summer. 

While the Tesco.com site is very functional, there are areas for improvement, and one of the things the retailer is trialling is a visual browsing feature for its beauty products; Beauty Room.

Zappos introduces visual browsing feature

I’ve just noticed (via Twitter) an excellent new feature on Zappos.com, which provides a different way to browse through the retailer’s ranges of shoes, watches and handbags.

Called Explore Zappos, it allows users to browse through the site by looking at a large number of items at once, and seems especially well suited to products like shoes and other fashion items.
