This is impressive growth when you consider the Google trend for ‘inbound marketing’ shows that interest in the term actually started in the UK much later than in the U.S.

This growth in adoption is taken from our annual report on inbound marketing in the UK. That growth is unquestionably based on the success brands are having with inbound marketing, with one in two marketers seeing a greater ROI from their inbound efforts than they did in the previous year.

There is no doubt this success helps to create trust in a marketer’s inbound marketing plans.

Past success with inbound was cited as the top reason a marketer’s inbound marketing budget changed in 2014 and for the majority of U.K marketers, this change was a positive one; nearly one in two marketers saw their budget increase in 2014.
