As Amido have grown up, their technology strategy has pushed forward and matured with the development of a range of internal IP tools, ranging from infrastructure as code, to proven functional and non-functional test frameworks, to further increase the speed of delivery and time to value. This year they are building on a 140 person London-based presence, with a new Manchester office to help service the growing portfolio of clients and to find the best talent nationwide.

Last year Amido re-invested a significant portion of their profits back into CSR projects to help people use technology to tackle critical issues including, poverty, stem cell donor matching and climate change. A particular work highlight has been their work for FarmSmart, an organisation who are aiming to develop the farming capacity of young people in Africa. In partnership, Amido has built an innovative mobile application using Flutter and microservices on GCP that will, through decision algorithms, help collect, determine and share essential farming knowledge to a network of smallholder farmers across the world. The next phase into French Polynesia is already in planning.

As Amido continues to expand its diverse clientele, solidifying its position as a disruptor in the cloud native sphere, 2019 has seen them recognised with a multitude of awards, including significant positioning in The FT1000 Europe Fast Growing Companies 2019, UK’s Best Workplace 2019 – Medium Category, as well as debuting in the Microsoft Partner Digital Marketing report for their excellence in digital marketing, entering in the top 250 out of the entire 39,000-strong UK Microsoft Partner Network.
