Meet the host: Steffan Aquarone

Steffan Aquarone is a UK digital entrepreneur, writer and speaker whose experiences range from film to payments.
In his career he has hired hundreds of people, raised millions in venture capital, started several startups, consulted for some big brands, created some much smaller ones, made a feature-length romantic comedy and failed in about every single way it’s possible to fail without going to prison.
He has gone on to advise brands like Sony, EY and McDonald’s on the future impact of technology on their businesses, as well as writing extensively on digital marketing and ecommerce.
A respected digital leader with fifteen years’ experience in product design, innovation and digital, Steff has developed and delivered highly effective creative learning programs for the likes of Coca-Cola, Ralph Lauren, Dyson, Shell, Biogen and General Mills.

Co-host Stefan Tornquist

Stefan Tornquist is SVP, Learning and Research at Econsultancy, where he focuses on learning experience and curriculum development. He manages a team of subject matter experts, designers, and experience creators that turns best practice research into dynamic learning content. He has also authored courses on a variety of topics, including customer experience strategy, AI in decision-making, and developing a powerful mindset.

In prior roles, Stefan led the company’s research arm in North America and is the primary author of over 100 studies exploring topics in marketing, ecommerce, technology and business transformation with partners such as Adobe, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and Salesforce. Stefan’s work has been featured in the Wall St. Journal, New York Times, USA Today, NPR, CNN, CNBC and AdAge.

Stefan entered the world of digital marketing and ecommerce as a co-founder of marketing infrastructure and rich media provider Bluestreak, now part of Dentsu. Some of the most intrusive (but effective) ad types on the web are partially his fault.
