About the event
Overview
Ian Jindal, Editor in Chief of InternetRetailing (magazine and
portal) and Business Consultant, will be taking a look at the emerging trends all internet professionals should be keeping an eye on.
In particular, Ian will look at the key points to 'carry forward'
from Web 2.0 now that the frenzy has abated, with a focus upon the online customer and the residual challenges to marketers.
In the spirit of Web 2.0 a category of small tools - nuggets of functionality, that can be incorporated into website and configured without recourse to IT, are making their presence felt. Allied to developments in structures for the consistent exchange of small, regular items of content, Ian will look "from macro to micro" - strategic considerations in micro-content, slots and widgets.
Ian's presentation will be followed with breakfast and the opportunity for networking.
