About Me
Following my business degree (Management Science - Marketing at Lancaster University) and time as a graduate trainee with Marley plc, I held various marketing roles in engineering, print and travel businesses before forming a marketing services agency in the late 1980's.
As 5 Communication Ltd, this agency grew successfully through the 1990's to a team c.30.
I exited in 1999, founding an award-winning digital agency with others - Evolving Media Ltd (www.evolvingagency.com), which in turn I exited in late 2012 after serving as chairman for 3 years.
Today my primary business focus is MatsSoft Ltd, a managed services software business that provides innovative solutions that join together workflow, reporting and customer communications.
I also retain interests in a number of technology and internet businesses.
My experience in business management extends to building businesses and business strategies, working with external investors, M&A activity, marketing and commercial.
